Kofax plc (LSE: KFX), a leading provider of Capture Enabled BPM™ (business process management) solutions, today announced that sales of its Kofax Mobile Capture™ software have gained rapid momentum with four global customer wins following shortly after the product’s general release in June 2012.
“The mobile applications market is currently in its early stages and poised for explosive growth,” said Drew Hyatt, Senior Vice President of Mobile Applications at Kofax. “More businesses are telling us how they want to use Kofax Mobile Capture to automatically capture information at the ‘Point of Origination’ using cameras in smart phones or tablets to speed business processes and become more responsive to their customers. We already have prospective users testing and evaluating Kofax Mobile Capture for mortgage applications, insurance claims, expense management, proof of delivery and accounts payable.”
Recent Kofax Mobile Capture orders include:
- A leading independent software vendor (ISV) providing transportation and logistics solutions will use the Kofax Mobile Capture software development kit (SDK) to deploy capture capabilities as a core component of its mobile applications by enabling drivers to use cameras in smartphones to upload images of delivery receipts to accelerate invoicing and cash collections. As demonstrated here, the Kofax Mobile Capture SDK enables ISVs to embed and leverage its capabilities within their own mobile applications.
- A North American regional government agency responsible for managing workplace health insurance programs will deploy Kofax Mobile Capture, Kofax Capture and Kofax Transformation Modules to process approximately 12 million medical claims and related documents it receives annually from remote offices and citizens using mobile devices in order to increase efficiency, accelerate claims processing speeds and improve its responsiveness.
- A leading mobile telecommunications services provider based in the Middle East will implement Kofax Mobile Capture to equip its sales staff with the ability to capture supporting documents from customers on location in order to initiate and accelerate the process of on boarding new customers and improve that experience.
- A major petroleum and chemicals production company based in the Middle East will use Kofax Mobile Capture at remote employee service terminals to initiate and accelerate internal business processes and thereby improve efficiency and reduce costs.
